Life in Plastic - It's fantastic.
Dolliewood is an ongoing photomanipulation project in which I turn myself into different kind of dolls. Surely inspired by the Blythe dolls and by the still life photography of Valérie Belin, Dolliewood is, in fact, a metaphor about how influent dolls can be while bringing up a child.
Among a conceptual explosion, the vivid colours almost can hide the freezed impression of both: expressions and movements.
Making use of heavy photomanipulation and of a totally experimental photography the plastic way on which the skin, the posing and the fake smiles are in a clearly contrast against the eyes, which maybe are the watermark of this project... the eyes are always wide open to the unbelievable and they are still traying to translate and show a little bit of the life glow which lasts.

We're nothing like God. Not only are our powers limited, sometimes we're driven to become the Devil himself.

Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like?

I gonna fly away...one day.
